ADVENTURE TECHNOLOGY PADDLES
LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

For the original retail purchaser ("Consumer"), Adventure Technology paddles by Confluence Watersports are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and craftsmanship under normal use for one year from date of purchase. PROOF OR (change to OF) PURCHASE MUST BE PRESENTED TO BE CONSIDERED FOR WARRANTY. Damages due to abuse, negligence, or normal wear can be repaired for a reasonable charge. Always inspect your paddle for damage before each use.

REPLACEMENT & REPAIR INFORMATION

If you have a problem with your paddle and you suspect that it may be due to defective materials or workmanship, contact the retailer from whom you purchased the paddle.

If you are able to provide proof of purchase within 1 year, the process is as follows:

  1. Pictures of the defective paddle, proof of purchase, and consumer name are sent by the retailer to Adventure Technology for evaluation of damage/defect.
  2. Within 24 hours, a representative from Adventure Technology will contact the retailer regarding the status of your warranty claim.
  3. If it is determined that the damage is covered by warranty, you will receive a replacement product either from your retailer's inventory or one will be shipped to you directly from Adventure Technology. The damaged paddle must be left with the retailer.

If proof of purchase can not be provided and/or if it is determined that the damage is not due to defect and therefore not covered by warranty, the process is as follows:

  3. If you would like to have your paddle repaired, you will be responsible for shipping and associated shipping costs to Adventure Technology.
  4. Once received, Adventure Technology will check for the ability to repair the paddle. If repairable, the paddle will be repaired within 5 business days of receipt and shipped back to you. Handling and shipping costs will apply.
  5. If the paddle is not repairable, and you want the damaged paddle returned, Adventure Technology will ship the broken paddle back to you. Shipping costs will apply.

If service is required in a country that is not the country of purchase, you need to comply with all applicable export laws and regulations and be responsible for all customs duties, value add tax (VAT), and other associated taxes and charges. For international service, the Adventure Technology Distributor may repair or exchange defective products and parts with comparable products and parts that comply with local standards.

LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS

This limited warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear and aging of product.
  • Paddles damaged by extreme weather or environmental conditions.
  • Paddles damaged by accident, neglect, improper use or handling.
  • Paddles designated as Prototypes.
  • Paddles sold as "demos" or in "as is" condition.
  • Paddles determined to have been used for any activity other than an activity which is customary for the product.
  • Paddles that have been structurally or dimensionally altered or modified.
  • Paddles used for commercial or rental purposes.

This limited warranty excludes all other warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with regard to Adventure Technology paddles. Some state, country, or provincial laws do not allow the exclusion of certain implied warranties, so this above exclusion may not apply to you.

This limited warranty excludes any incidental or consequential damages or expenses resulting from any defects. Adventure Technology's aggregate liability shall be limited to an amount equal to Consumer's original purchase price paid for the defective product. Some state, country, or provincial laws do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above exclusion may not apply to you.

To the extent any limitation or exclusion contained herein is contrary to any country, state, or provincial law, such limitation or exclusion shall be severable and all other terms herein shall remain in full force and effect and are valid and enforceable.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights. For consumers who are covered by state, country or provincial consumer protection laws or regulations, the benefits from this warranty are in addition to all rights conveyed by such consumer protection laws.
